Creating this piece felt like capturing a small symbol of wellbeing, optimism and the simple pleasure of being alive.
These textile artworks are created by hand from recycled clothing and wool felt. Fabrics that once belonged to everyday life are transformed into layered images, giving them a new purpose and a second life. Each artwork is available in two sizes: a small format (30 × 40 cm) and a large format (60 × 80 cm). The pieces shown here reflect my original colour choices, but all designs can also be recreated in custom colour palettes.
