A house on a hill, a few trees and smoke rising into the evening sky. I love how a single detail can change the story of an image. The smoke tells us that someone is there, hidden behind the quiet simplicity of the landscape. The colours arrived naturally, later revealing an unexpected connection to the Bauhaus aesthetic that has long inspired me.
These textile artworks are created by hand from recycled clothing and wool felt. Fabrics that once belonged to everyday life are transformed into layered images, giving them a new purpose and a second life. Each artwork is available in two sizes: a small format (30 × 40 cm) and a large format (60 × 80 cm). The pieces shown here reflect my original colour choices, but all designs can also be recreated in custom colour palettes.
